Hypnotic
Power to the hypnopanels, they draw you in but never let go. Don’t underestimate their power or you’ll be lured in yourself.
Music
Join the clones in their manic dancing, their food is psy-trance music and this film has lots of it. Party all night and never sit still while you’ve got your first dose of psy-trance.
Technique
This film features 3D animated characters with projected real world faces. Feel the true expressions emerging from real-world actors like they intended. You’ve never seen animation like this and probably never will.
PROCESS
This project emerged out of curiosity for illegal rave parties and psy-trance music. I exploited the psychedelic aspects of these subjects to make a surrealistic story about an unpredictable party night.
A reminder that the world only exists in your head. The result is a cloudy mental projection of what happened on such a night. There are only important experiences without unnecessary details.
I used real footage of my face to project on a 3D head, making it a literal mental projection but also making room for the main character to meet himself.

The phone is very central. It kicks this whole thing off and gets the main character there. You could say that it influences the main character.
